Stacey’s Buffet, Stacey's Express and the Restaurant at Thompson School are weekly restaurants operated by Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts students of the Food Service Management Program. All facilities offer high quality food at reasonable prices and are located in Cole Hall on the University of New Hampshire campus. Patrons are asked to park next door in the metered parking lot at the Visitor Center.

New Restaurant for the Fall!

The Thompson School welcomes a new restaurant experience for the fall 2009 semester. Serving in the new dining room in Cole hall, the yet to be named restaurant, will serve American Regional Cuisine for both the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 semesters. Stacey's Buffet (Fall 2009)

Please join us from 12:00 to 1:00 on select Thursdays during the Fall 2009 semester for great food prepared by our own Restaurant Management Students. No reservations are needed but the buffet is first come first serve. Please call (603) 862-1073 for more information. Stacey's Express (Spring 2010)

Stacey's Express, an express style lunch serving in Cole Hall, is sure to be a favorite with Durham community members, students, faculty and staff alike. Come a join us for a hot dish, soup, sandwich, pizza, and salads at very resonable prices. Stacey's Express will resume service in the Spring 2010 Semester.

International Cuisine (Spring 2010)

Join us for a trip around the world Thursday nights from 5:00 - 8:00 pm beginning Mid-February through the end of April as we bring you menus representing countries and regions of the world. This fine dining restaurant operated by second year Culinary Arts Students will be open to the public and reservations are strongly recommended. Please call 862-4760.

Poinsettias at the TSAS GreenhouseStop by and visit us here at the greenhouse as you prepare your holiday shopping list. Our Poinsettia crop has just begun to flower and we should have a full selection right up until December 24th. Also, if you have time, check out our 4th Annual Poinsettia Open House December 3, 4, and 5th (See the Events page on our website for more information). Remember all plant material is produced by the students within our Horticulture Program for your enjoyment. Hours are M-Th 8-noon and 1-4pm, Fri-Sat 8-noon. Phone: 862-1074

Grooming Shop

Two Applied Animal Science students with dog in the grooming labThe Grooming Shop is a business operated by students enrolled in the Thompson School’s Small Animal Care specialization or Pet Grooming diploma program. Classes are taught by professional groomer, Chris Bohman. “We encourage people to bring their pets to the shop, and we are especially looking for pure-bred animals with coats requiring specific clipping and scissoring patterns,” says Chris.

Grooming services include brushing, de-matting, ear cleaning, nail trimming, checking for fleas and ticks, bathing, appropriate scissoring and clipping. Call 862-1144 to schedule an appointment.
