Facilities
The Thompson School Horticultural Facility is comprised of 6000 sq. ft. of inside growing area as well as 3500 sq. ft. of outdoor container production area. Within the facility the students, during laboratory and practicum periods, produce a year-round assortment of cut flowers, potted plants, bulbs, spring annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs.
The greenhouse facility consists of a 35’x100’ single layer glass house, 30’x50’ double layer polyethylene house and a 15’x50’ propagation house. Our 3500 sq. ft. of outdoor production area house our trees, shrubs and perennials.

In addition the grounds around the Thompson School, including three teaching gardens, are used as outdoor classrooms for pruning, landscape construction and plant identification classes.
Feel free to visit us anytime, academic year hours are 8-4:15 Monday-Thursday and 8- Noon Friday and Saturday. During the summer we are here 8-4:15 Tuesday-Friday and 8-Noon Monday and Saturday. (603-862-1074)
