Dietetic Technician - Curriculum

Dietetic Technician Pathways

Registration Pathway: students choosing to sit for the Dietetic Technician registration exam must complete the registration pathway curriculum including didactic coursework and 450 hours of supervised practice. Upon successful completion, students will be issued verification to sit for the Dietetic Technician Registration exam. Students must complete major coursework with a "C" or better to be eligible to complete FSM 276 and FSM  290. Students who have not met the grade requirements are encouraged to repeat courses to be eligible to continue on the registration path.

Non-Registration Pathway: students not meeting the grade requirements and/or those who choose to opt-out may complete the program by replacing FSM 276, FSM 290, and FSM 295 with FSM 422 and an elective of their choice. All students must complete a minimum of 64 credits for the AAS degree.
