"Producing milk requires the commitment to milking cows or a cow 365 days a  year, 2 - 3 times per day.  This is a committment most consumers are not willing to make.  If you are interested in cows and dairy farming, there is and will always be a future in producing milk and there is not a lot of competition for these jobs."
