The Community Leadership Program celebrated its first graduating class in 2003 with five students. Since then an additional twenty-two students have completed either the Associate’s Degree or the Diploma Program. The variety of their post-Community Leadership degree pursuits is a testament to both their abilities and to the strength of our program.
Our graduates have:
- Found professional employment in such areas as nonprofit management, special education, social work, community organizing, public relations, event planning and leadership development
- Earned Bachelor’s degrees in Community Development, Political Science, Social Work, Women’s Studies, Education and Communication
- Earned Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Social Work
- Modeled best practices in group process and interpersonal communication wherever they go!
Both Tim Barretto and I are tremendously proud of the students who have helped us shape this program and who now represent us so well in jobs and schools across the country.
Check out some of our graduates’ recent activities. We’d love to hear from all of you. Would you please complete a brief survey?
Thank you!
